Tom!

Brian - The Engineer here! YO MAN! THAT WAS F*CKIN' TIZZ-IGHT! I have a Maschine too, and I've always wanted to remix something... I can't wait to get neck-deep in a project like that! Justin Aswell has crazy Maschine skills man... Love his work too. Did you get my e-mail last week? I'll send it again... Killer video, wicked remix, and thanks again for being that inspirational spark! It's back to the lab, back to the lab, back-back-back to the lab! Ha ha!

Sincerely,
Brian K. James, The Engineer (from Philly)

Hi! I used the mighty Sawlytron on a performance. The two synth sounds come from EX24s. For the synth bass I layered two Sawlytrons with a one octave offset.

I tried sampling the Monotron, but I ended up with ca. 25 samples. I sampled each minor third... hehehe.

Thank you! The Sawlytron sounds very nice :-)

I love the Sawlytron!!! I tried sampling the monotron like you, but I only sampled each minor third hehehe. Yours is superb! I'll use on my next gigs for that polyphonic monotron sound.

Many thanks! :-)

Any of the DAWs will work. I use Logic, and Live for music.

I would recommend getting a separate program for video editing like Final Cut, Final Cut Express, or even iMovie. I use iMovie over Final Cut Express sometimes jus for simplicity. If you're on a PC then Sony Vegas is up there for prosumers.

This is all from my experience so definitely ask around and do some more research. Demo the programs before you buy too. Good luck!
