The Power of We Trumps the Power of Me

Everything successful involves the collaboration of many individuals. Everything successful brings people together in some way shape or form.

Car companies – Take a person from point A to B, in most cases to another person or a group of people.

Social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, dating sites like Match etc) – Bring together a community to communicate with eachother

Auction site (eBay, Craigslist, etc) – Bring two people together to exchange products (money is a product).

Schools, Colleges – Brings people together to learn together.

Add whatever you want. It all requires the collaborative efforts of more than one person. So why is it that we live in a society that emphasizes the individual? The collaborative power of we is going to trump the efforts of just me.

So, who wants to collaborate?

Yo B, seriously man, I mean anything. As far as KBB goes, could use another writer. I have slew of projects on the list of things to do. If you program, plugins. If you want to sound design, sample libraries. If you web design, could use that all of the time lol. You screen print? Could use that too. Want to lead a class online via the warpflow method? That can be arranged. If you have 3d printer handy, got something for that too. Electrical engineering/tinkerer, got a few build projects. All of those are joint ventures and will cut you in on pay, except for writing because not much of anything is being generated from site ad sales, BUT that could change too. Basically, I think KBB is expanding. obscuremachines.com will be the storefront, while KBB remains as the blog. EVEN if none of that interests you, I’m always open to making music, and chatting about production and everything. I am looking for a select few to team up with though. Let me know if you’re interested and if there’s anything you want to bring to the table! email me

For this reason, collaborative efforts tend to be loosely structured, highly adaptive, and inherently creative. By creating spaces where connections are made, ideas are cross-fertilized, and collective knowledge is developed, collaborative teams generate rich opportunities for innovation. When the right people are brought together in constructive ways and with the appropriate information, they are able to create powerful visions and robust strategies for change.
